TOSCANA BIANCO IGT “Il Mariolo” Casina di Cornia 2009

Type: White wine (organic)
Grape: Viognier 100%
Fermentation: concrete vats
Aging: steel vats and in the bottle on fine yeasts

Viognier vines, planted in the Nineties, produce a very small quantity, about 600 bottles (very low yield per plant), of a white wine for friends and wine enthusiasts. It varies from one year to the next, due to the fact that the vintner tests different wine-making techniques in order to highlight the differences between the various harvests. It is always a full-bodied wine which, seeing the number of bottles, should be drunk on the edge of the lips; enjoy its nice golden yellow colour, a fresh floral and apricot bouquet, a rich, rounded and fruity palate.
